1.6 The Teenage Years

Miro knew his family wasn't rich neither were they that poor. So Miro decided to help his family by clipping discount coupons from the newspapers. He hope that those discount coupons would help the family save money. He gave a mini facial spa coupon to his mum as he thought she was so stressed out. Jodie accepted it but was thought the Miro was odd that he gave her a mini facial spa coupon... for guys.

Many days later, it was time for Chanel to grow up. She didn't have a birthday party neither did she wanted one. She was perfectly fine being all alone by herself.  She was happy she wouldn't be using diapers or going to the potty anymore. She was a big girl now.

Since Chanel could no longer sleep in a crib, Jodie and Chris decided to add another room to their house for Chanel. They decorated it in her favourite color. Though it wasn't much, Chanel was happy to have her own room even though she had to enter her brother's room to get to her room, she was satisfied.

Chanel wanted to explore and learn more things she couldn't learn when she was a toddler. She rode on her bike to the Library hoping to find some skill books to increase her skills. She didn't find a lot since most of them were too advance for her to read.

So she decided to read this book "Exit at Powell" as it sounded interesting. Chanel was so engrossed in the book that she forgot all about the time.

Since both his kids were no longer toddlers, Chris can now focus on fufilling his lifetime wish of having a Perfect Aquarium. He had already caught 6 perfect fishes and were happily swimming about in his fish tank that he had a hard time persuading Jodie to buy for him. Jodie thought it was a waste of money to buy a fish tank that could only hold 6 fishes instead of a fish bowl.

Chris always happily watches his fishes swimming about in the tank. He loved fishes a lot and wanted his family to love it too. Too bad that Jodie and Chanel both hated the fishes and the fish tank. The only one who appreciated it was Miro and Chris often brought Miro along on his fishing trips.

It was time for Chris to go into adulthood. He was no longer a young adult. He knew that being an adult, he had to be more mature but he still love the occasional noogies he gives his family though they all hated it.

Jodie was glad that Chris was in adulthood as she was a bit older than him and didn't want their age gap to be too large. They celebrated Chris's birthday in the bathroom after the children had gone to sleep. After celebrating, Chris gave Jodie a big kiss on her lips. He was happy that he had met Jodie and had two wonderful children.

The next day, it was time for Miro to become a teenager. He was happy that he could now meet more girls (since he was friends with girls and always brought home one) than he could when he was a child. Sadly, he got the never nude trait and is now scared of showing himself nude, even when he is bathing.

Miro thought it would be a good idea to wear his formal outfit while doing his homework.

I saw him doing this to himself after he had clean the dishes. Must be his insane trait and his lifetime wish is to become a Robot Creature whatever it's called wish.

1.5 Growing Up

Where they slept before I remodeled the house.

Chanel was aging up quite fast and soon it was her birthday! The family had a small family party for Chanel instead of a big one. Sad to say Chanel was bald and her clothings were very mismatched according to Jodie. Nonetheless, I think Chanel liked how she look. She enjoyed her bald head and her mismatched clothes. Such a weird little girl thought Jodie.

One day, Jodie thought of a great idea on how to raise Chanel and decided to buy some toddler book. When she went to the bookstore in town, she nearly fainted flat on her face. The books were so expensive and they were only just for toddlers. Jodie told herself she and Chris needed to work harder than ever to provide some decent toddler skill books for Chanel since she already learned all she can from the peg box and the xylophone.

After a long day of working at the diner, Chris finally got a promotion in a long time. With the money, they decided to build another room for them and their children to sleep in instead of sleeping outdoors where Miro would always get wet by the sprinkles as his bed was near the garden.

Since Chris didn't help much with Miro growing up due to his odd work hours, he decided to teach Chanel how to talk. He told Chanel about his cooking job at the dinner and wanted her to repeat "frying pan" after him. I think Chris was too obssess with his job and wanted a promotion.

Jodie was proud that her garden was growing bigger and bigger with more variety of fruits and vegetables. She dedicated herself to making a garden for the many generations that were to come. She wanted Miro or Chanel or both to take care of her garden after she was gone.

Both of them digged their nose and pulled their finger out at the same time. lols

Jodie looking for stars or something in the galaxy that the science centre would give her money for looking. She earned 25 simoleons -_-

Since Miro was born insane. He slept in his atheletic wear most of the time.

Soon it was time for Miro to grow up and go to school. They also had a small gathering since it was late at night when Chris came home from work. He looks so cute! But a little bit insane looking.

Jodie knew she wasn't training Chanel a lot like she did with Miro. She decided to potty train her today but only after two big puddles, Chanel learnt how to use the potty. Miro wasn't that bad when he was younger.

Jodie thought Miro would have a bad time in school and had to go to a special school for insane kids but Miro was perfectly fine and he made lots of friends, especially with the girls. He was also doing his homework everyday and bringing home A's. Jodie was proud of Miro's accomplishments in school and that he overcame his disadvantage of being insane.

Miro wanted to learn how to paint so Jodie and Chris bought an easel for him as present for his achievements in school. The first thing Miro painted was someone with purple skin and purple hair looking insane and weird. Maybe he like that kind of style like maybe Picasso?

He also thought that he would gain more inspirations on what to paint while wearing his underwear ( and no I didn't make him wear that )

Time for Chanel to learn how to walk instead of getting grass stains on her knees.

Miro writing in his diary on his daily life and how his mom loved waffles too much that she ate them for both breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It was time for Jodie to celebrate her birthday and become an adult. She knew she wasn't the most perfect mom in the world but she knew that she did a good job in raising Miro and now it was time for Chanel

1.4 It's a ....

Jodie didn't know that taking care of a baby and a garden was hard work. Most of the time, Miro would just cry and cry, and Jodie would have to coo him to make him stop crying. And with Christopher gone at work, it was a bit hard earning money and taking care of a child.

Jodie was happy that she might be pregnant again but she wasn't sure if she wanted more. Sure she was happy that Miro would have a sister or a brother but she was thinking that 1 baby was already hard work. She chatted with Christopher and told him about her worries but Christopher just smiled and said that he will be there to help her and they both will be great parents.

Since Jodie was a self-employed gardener, she spends most of her time at home. Her garden wasn't ready to be harvest, so she spend most of her time upgrading appliances for future generations to come.

The next day was little Miro's birthday. Jodie decided to throw him a small gathering with their neighbours and friends but as you know, Sims 3 parties always have party crashers and uninvited guest coming. Little Miro blew out his candle and become a cute but bald toddler. Poor thing. He had no hair. Jodie spent an awful lot of time wondering whether he would inherit Christopher's hair color or hers or a mixture.

Soon enough that night, Jodie was pregnant. She was happy that she was gonna have another child in the family.

Since Miro had become a toddler, Christopher immediately ordered toys and baby furniture for Miro. He wanted to make sure his son had a good life even though they still sleep outside but they had a kitchen at least and that made them happy.

Since his parents were mostly out trying to max their skills and earn promotions, Miro was left at home with a babysitter. Some were good, others were just playing with the sprinkler in the garden. But Miro didn't feel bothered by it. He had his good friend, the peg box, with him and he had fun playing with it more than the xylophone.

A lot of cleaning was to be done in their small house. The toilet and the stove was dirty and Jodie wanted to hire a maid. But with very little money they had, they could not afford to have a maid everyday.

Sometimes Jodie can't understand half of what Miro wants and was frustrating over it since she had the loser trait but still did pretty well in her gardening and got promotions really fast but didn't earn lots of money. Maybe the gardening career isn't meant for her.

Christopher was so happy that he was gonna be a father of two.

Jodie was trying to potty train Miro one day but he just looked at her with a blanked expression. I think he's wondering why does he need to be potty trained when he was still using diapers.

The day after that, he was learning to walk. He didn't succeed much at first but was slowly learning. I guess maybe it was his insane trait.

Christopher didn't want to be left out of Miro's toddlerhood so he decided to spend a day with him and the peg box to bond.

Later after dinner, Jodie was about to search the galaxy with her telescope that maybe she's find a star and the science centre will reward her with money, she broke into labour. She felt that this baby wasn't like Miro. She had a calm expression with Miro but this time she felt pain. She thought maybe this baby was going to be way bigger than Miro when he was an infant.

Christopher and Jodie knew that they couldn't leave Miro at home by himself and it was already too late to call a babysitter. So they decided to bring him along and let him experience and see what was going to happen and whether he will have a sister or a brother.

Unfortunately, it seems like the hospital doesn't like toddlers that much so Chris ( I'm getting tired of spelling his whole name ) had to leave him alone outside by himself. Miro didn't seemed to mind. He was playing with his fingers and digging for gold with them.

He waited patiently outside the hospital door though it looked like no one was at the reception. He waited and waited about 4 hours ( you know how fast sim's hours are ;) ). Soon, he heard a very soft cry from the hospital and knew that it was over and he was going to see his new sibling.

But as soon as they were released from the hotel, Jodie was so excited that she rushed home leaving Chris and Miro behind.

Miro had a new sister. Her name is Chanel and she was born eccentric and good. Guess Sims 3 prefers that the baby gets the genes from the mother instead of the father. Jodie couldn't wait for the new adventures that she was going to have with Little Chanel Abracadabra.

What willl happen to the Abracadabra family now that little Chanel had arrived? Stay turn for the next chapter :)

1.3 Oh Boy!

Soon enough, Jodie was pregnant. She was so happy that she was going to have a baby.

The next morning, Jodie was gardening the moment she was awake. She also register herself as a self-employed gardener. Even though she was pregnant, she still needed to make moneyby gardening. Jodie loved gardening and talking to her baby at the same time to let him/her know what she was doing.

With enough money, Jodie had a bathroom built for her. Fully furnished and decorated.

It seems like Christopher liked it too much that he decided to read the newspaper there. Christopher was looking for a job now that he was going to have a baby. He wanted a job that he already had skills in. The Cooking Career didn't seemed like a bad choice to him since he already has a skill in cooking and fishing.

During lunch, Jodie and Christopher were talking about their new baby and whether it would be a boy or a girl. Jodie wanted a girl but Christopher wanted a boy. They also had to discuss what to name their new baby. Both of them had the perfect name, Miro. It was a unisex name and whatever the gender on the baby, they wanted him/her to be called Miro.

Christopher was really excited on having a child. He was so excited that he did most of the chores (not that there are many) instead of Jodie as he didn't want her to be more tired. He would also massage her whenever her body was aching. Jodie knew she married a good man.

At 10:53pm, Jodie's water broke and the contractions had started. They needed to go to a hospital quick. They immediately changed their clothes and hailed a taxi. Jodie and Christopher were both scared and excited at the same time. They couldn't wait to welcome their child into the world.

About 4 hours later, a little baby boy was born. His traits were Insane and Clumsy. Even though he was still a baby, Jodie thought he was the most perfect and cutest child in the world.

When they arrived home, Jodie knew that Miro couldn't sleep on the hard, bushy floor. So Christopher immediately went to buy a crib for Miro.

They next morning during breakfast, Jodie was scared that something might happen to Miro since he was insane and anything could happen. She said that she was afraid that little Miro would hurt himself with a briefcase. Christopher thought Jodie was a bit silly and how a baby could lift a briefcase and hurt himself with it. But still Jodie and Christopher needed a spare.
